Уже второй вечер подряд пропадаю на Генрихе VI, опять же в Глобусе. (До этого я пропадала в других местах, но об этом ещё расскажу).
Так вот, Генрих Шестой в трех частях (жаль, на третью завтра уже не попаду) — это, на контрасте с многими другими, сурово-сюжетная пьеса, по сути являющаяся кратким творческим пересказом войны Алой и Белой Розы в лицах. Текучка кадров по ходу произведения на удивление бойкая, следить за происходящим нужно очень внимательно, и, главное, помнить, что если персонаж умер (на сцене или на словах других персонажей), а потом тут же снова появился на сцене — это уже не он, а следующая роль того же актера.

Про первую часть скажу, что там замечательная Жанна Д'Арк, а ещё очень понравился лорд Таблот. А его последним разговором с сыном глубоко прониклась.
Сам Генри Шестой, к слову, показан существом почти блаженным, правда, с эмоциональными припадками, куда без них. Актер очень хорош.
Кстати, именно из сцены с выбором роз — выдуманной Шекспиром — и пошло название войны.

Про вторую часть скажу... Самое прекрасное — это сцена с объяснением прав Ричарда Йоркского на престол.
Я не могу не процитировать, оно прекрасно. И это было на слух!

Now, my good Lords of Salisbury and Warwick,
Our simple supper ended, give me leave
In this close walk to satisfy myself,

The Nevils are thy subjects to command.

Ещё где-то по середине объяснения Ричарда народ уже начал смеяться, а на вот этом So... I am king — зал взорвался бурными незапланированными овациями, потому слушать такую Санта-Барбару на слух!..
Ну да, его право на престол прям совершенно очевидно!
Кстати, к слову, вот если не в формате пьесы, а с текстом и не спеша читая, я благодарна Шекспиру за объяснение, я всю первую часть пыталась параллельно с просмотром разобраться, что там, как и с чем у Йорков и Ланкастеров.
Разобралась)
